ITMO To Receive 400 Million Rubles From Priority 2030 National Program
The Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the results of recent defenses within the Priority 2030 national program. ITMO University shared the first outcomes of its transformation into a research and educational corporation, as well as its further development plans. In 2026, the university will receive around 400 million rubles to implement its all-encompassing development strategy, including projects in AI for business, science, and education.

Why and How To Apply for Scientific Workshop Week at ITMO
Scientific Workshop Week (SWW) is a research school held biannually by ITMO’s Advanced Engineering School. The most recent installment, which wrapped up at ITMO on June 22-29, was devoted to nanotechnology trends and team projects. Priority 2030: ITMO Leads Among Participants of National Project
The Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the results of defenses within the Priority 2030 national program. For its part, ITMO University presented a new plan for transforming the university into a research-, education-, and tech-focused corporation, retaining its position at the top of the program’s high-performers list. In 2025, the university will receive around 1 billion rubles to implement its all-encompassing development strategy, including projects in AI for business, science, and education.

ITMO and Samolet Group Host School for Future IT Leaders
ITMO’s Institute of Applied Computer Science and Samolet Group hosted a joint winter school for students titled Project Activities in IT: From Developer to Leader. The school’s participants learned to create and manage innovative solutions, as well as worked on their own ideas. The authors of the best IT projects received a 200,000-ruble grant and the chance to continue their work under the guidance of Samolet experts.

Frontier Research: ITMO to Support 11 New Projects Within Federal Program Priority 2030
11 teams were named winners in the open call for projects held within ITMO’s 2030 Development Strategy. Scientific St. Petersburg: See a Different Side to the City
St. Petersburg isn’t just about the Palace Square, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, sphynxes, buns, and shawarma (the things it’s commonly associated with in Russia).
