  The state expertise center of the Russian Ministry of Construction (Glavgosexpertiza) has issued a positive conclusion after reviewing the project documentation of the multifunctional sports complex to be located in ITMO Highpark. The building will house an ice arena, swimming pools, climbing wall, and other sports facilities.

• ITMO Highpark Techno Valley Receives 5 Billion-Ruble Investment

  Irina Potekhina, the Vice Governor of St. Petersburg, has recently visited the construction site of the education and innovation center ITMO HIghpark. The tour of the campus involved an assessment of undergoing construction and the key investment projects, including an agreement with the company FAKT.PROM on the construction of high-tech production and research facilities. The extensive industrial complex is set to receive 5 billion rubles in investments.

• First Phase Completed: Construction of Internal Road Networks at ITMO Highpark

  The first phase of ITMO Highpark’s road construction is finished: a 2 km roadway has been built on the site of the future world-class research and innovation center. As claimed by St. Petersburg’s Governor’s press service, ITMO Highpark will have complete road access to Kiyevskoye Shosse in 2026.

• Daria Kozlova at SPIEF: ITMO Highpark – Step Towards Advanced Education

  The recent St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2025 featured a session titled Business Speaks. What Should the Innovative Infrastructure of the Future Be Like? During the session, Daria Kozlova, ITMO’s Director for Strategic Development, pointed out the need to unite universities and companies in one place – a concept that lies at the heart of ITMO Highpark. At the to-be center, Master’s students and more experienced researchers will be able to seamlessly adapt to business processes and communicate with industry experts in one language.

• ITMO Highpark’s Research Centers Receive Positive Assessment

  Glavgosexpertiza of Russia (a state expertise center subordinate to the Russian Ministry of Construction – Ed.) has approved the design estimates for ITMO Highpark’s second stage of construction that will include three advanced research centers with a total area of 30,000 square meters. These are: the IT Center, the Photonics and Quantum Technologies Center, and the Life and Health Sciences Center.

• ITMO Highpark Dormitory Projects Approved

  Glavgosexpertiza of Russia has issued an approval on the design estimates for ITMO Highpark's third and fourth dormitory buildings. Five-story dormitories for 1,500 beds will be constructed within the project’s second and third phases. Along with the first and second buildings currently under construction, the dormitories’ total capacity will reach about 2,600 people.

• ITMO Highpark Street Names Revealed

  The St. Petersburg toponymic committee has approved the names of four new streets on the territory of ITMO Highpark. Reflecting ITMO University’s main research areas, these new streets are Kvantovaya (Quantum), Tsifrovaya (Digital), Fotonnaya (Photon), and Neironnaya (Neural).

• St. Petersburg Government Approves Design of Sports Complex at ITMO Highpark

  Recently, the Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of St. Petersburg approved the architectural design of a future sports facility at ITMO Highpark, the university’s new campus located in the Yuzhny satellite city.
