  • Highly Personalized Education: ITMO Adopts New Educational Standards

    On January 25, 2022 ITMO’s Academic Council approved the new edition of the university’s educational standards (available here in Russian). Now, all ITMO students starting from their second semester will be able to fully adjust their individual learning tracks according to their goals and study more efficiently.   • ITMO University in 2021: A Year in Review

    This year we celebrated 121 years of ITMO University. As with any other year, we had no shortage of challenges – but nothing we couldn’t rise above. There were also great new achievements to be proud of, such as grants, prizes, and awards and some extraordinary research accomplishments. On the international scale, we welcomed nearly 900 new international students.

  • Results of ITMO's 2030 Open Call for Projects

    ITMO University is happy to announce the results of the open call for projects held as part of the 2030 Development Strategy. All in all, the university received 141 applications in four categories. Out of 57 projects approved for open defense, 36 have been chosen by the expert board as the winners.

  • ‘Universities Must Maintain a Dialogue:’ ITMO First Vice Rector Daria Kozlova at Far-East Session of Priority 2030 Program

    On November 25-26, the city of Khabarovsk played host to the first strategic session of the national program Priority 2030. Participants joined forces to flesh out the next specific steps in the transformation of the Russian Far East’s universities and the development of education in various regions of Russia. Discussions were moderated by rectors of the nation’s top universities, including Daria Kozlova, ITMO University’s First Vice Rector and head of its 2030 Development Strategy.
