PRO.ITMO Project: Helping Students Find Their Paths at ITMO From Student Clubs to Internships
PRO.ITMO is a new project aimed at helping students learn all about the opportunities to be found at ITMO. For instance, there students can take part in workshops, join student clubs, or upgrade their skills. One of the project’s latest initiatives was a series of workshops by university staff and representatives of Russian companies held on October 19 - November 2. CYFEST at ITMO’s AIR Space: Who Are You, and Who Am I?
CYFEST is one of the largest contemporary art festivals in Eastern Europe and has been held annually for the past 13 years. This time, St. Petersburg’s exhibition spaces will present complex installations and video- and technological art created with AI, computer vision, and more. Art.ITMO.Residency (AIR), ITMO’s exhibition space, is debuting as the festival’s main location hosting the Who are you, and who am I? exhibition on November 11-23. ITMO’s 2030 Open Call for Projects: All You Need to Know
On November 5, ITMO launched the open call for projects within the 2030 Development Strategy. The call welcomes applications from staff and students of ITMO and other universities and organizations – anyone who is eager to develop new technologies, improve education, and have an impact on the development of society and the economy of St. Petersburg and Russia. ITMO Launches Two New Labs for Young Researchers
As a result of a contest held as part of the Science and Universities national project by the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, six new AI-focused laboratories are to open in St. Petersburg. Two of them have already launched at ITMO University – read on to learn about the way composite AI and intelligent technologies for infochemistry will be studied at ITMO.
