The annual awards ceremony in honor of St. Petersburg’s best graduates was recently held at the Peter and Paul Fortress. Among the top graduates was Anna Voloshina who completed her Master’s degree at ITMO’s Faculty of Technological Management and Innovations and is also an employee at ITMO’s Strategic Communications Department.
ITMO Scientist Andrey Bogdanov Receives Euler Prize from the Government of St. Petersburg and the Russian Academy of Sciences
Andrey Bogdanov, a senior research associate at ITMO’s Faculty of Physics and the head of the Nanophotonics and Metamaterials Master’s program, was recognized by the Government of St. Petersburg and the city’s Scientific Center for his contribution to science.
The competition is held annually by the Association of Student Sports Clubs of Russia (ASSC) with the support of the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, as well as the Ministry of Sports.
On September 18, an annual awards ceremony was held at the Peter and Paul Fortress to honor the best graduates of St. Petersburg’s universities. The annual Awards Ceremony has been recently held in the Peter and Paul Fortress to honor the best graduates of St. Petersburg universities. The Acting Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, and the Chairman of Rectors’ Union of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast Andrey Demidov gathered to congratulate the young experts. ITMO University was represented by Meruert Nurysheva, a Master’s student at the Faculty of Cryogenic Engineering and Vice-Chair of the International Student Club.
