ITMO Highpark is a world-class research and educational center currently under construction in the south of St. Petersburg. The complex, which features dormitories and research centers, will also house ITMO University’s second campus. The main focus at the campus will be on Master’s and PhD programs, with an emphasis on practice-oriented research and its commercialization. ITMO will retain its campuses in the city center, where Bachelor's and Master's-level students will continue to study in fundamental research-oriented programs.

The new campus will be located in the Pushkinsky District, alongside the up-and-coming Yuzhny satellite city, which is a strategic project of the city of St. Petersburg. It is expected that over 9.6 million square meters of real estate – both residential, commercial, and administrative – will be constructed within the new city. ITMO Highpark will take up an area of 86 ha alongside the southwestern side of Kievskoye Shosse between the interchange to Kondakopshino and the border of the Leningrad Oblast; the complex is expected to create over 12,000 new jobs.
