Erarta Museum presents Russia’s first exhibition by the Chinese artist Fanglu Lin, whose unique approach is based on traditional crafts of various ethnic minorities of China. Made from seemingly delicate materials, the artist’s works are impressive monumental pieces bringing textile, a typically female trade, out of the shadows and giving the medium its due attention.

Explore the works of one of St. Petersburg’s most interesting creators of the 20th century at the State Museum of Urban Sculpture. Having trained as an architect in the 1950s, August Lanin had to abandon this trade, but nevertheless relied on its principles throughout his creative career. Among his creations are sculptures, large-scale paintings, avant-garde collages, and even a unique method of merging colors and music. At the exhibition, you will get to see the artworks from the last decade of his life.
