  • ITMO in Top-Three of Potanin Foundation Scholarship Contest

    Almost 60 ITMO University students have received this year’s Potanin Foundation Scholarship. Thus, the university came third behind St. Petersburg State University and Lomonosov Moscow State University. The students will receive a monthly stipend of 25,000 rubles until the end of their Master’s studies. We talked to the winners about their achievements in research and beyond, discussed the qualities that helped them seize victory, and asked them for advice to anyone wishing to take part in the contest next year.

    Tatiana Statsenko, a second-year Master’s student at ITMO’s ChemBio Cluster, has recently spent a month and a half doing an internship in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. There, together with her colleagues from the Saints Cyril and Methodius University, she explored the synthesis of perovskite nanocrystals.   • ITMO PhD Student Anna Mikhailovskaya Receives IEEE MTT-S Graduate Fellowship

    Anna Mikhailovskaya, a PhD student at ITMO’s Faculty of Physics and Engineering, received a graduate fellowship of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society in the category Medical Application. It’s the first time the award was given to a Russian scientist.
