  • ITMO Urban Studies Specialist Participates in Major Urban Planning Conference in China

    On July 8-12, the biggest research conference in the field of urban studies, Computers in Urban Planning and Urban Management (СUPUM), took place in China. Held every second year, the conference brings together leading urban specialists from all over the world.   • ITMO University Hosts Final Round of NTI Competition for University Students

    On April 18, the results of the Competition of the National Technology Initiative were announced at ITMO University. The event brought together students from St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk and Irkutsk, who had three days to solve three tasks focusing on such topics as mathematical statistics, machine learning algorithms, and distributed computing infrastructure. The winners of the competition will receive an opportunity to enroll in one of ITMO’s Master’s programs without needing to take entrance exams, as well as receive a paid internship at the University’s research laboratories.

    This year marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Leningrad from the 872-day siege by the Nazi Germany. ITMO University was one of the venues of a nation-wide academic conference dedicated to this occasion.
