• First Project Defenses Held as Part of ITMO’s 2030 Development Strategy

  A recent session of ITMO University’s Coordination Council included an interim review of the first projects implemented as part of the university’s 2030 Development Strategy. Four teams reported on their progress thus far; instead of a formal report, the defenses took place as open discussions. • Dark Matter and Quantum States: All About ITMO's New Frontier Labs

  In December, the open call for projects held as part of the 2030 Development Strategy was completed. Among its categories was the establishment of frontier laboratories at ITMO University, where researchers would work on the very cutting edge of modern science. As a result of the open call, six labs were chosen for the implementation.

• Results of ITMO's 2030 Open Call for Projects

  ITMO University is happy to announce the results of the open call for projects held as part of the 2030 Development Strategy. All in all, the university received 141 applications in four categories. Out of 57 projects approved for open defense, 36 have been chosen by the expert board as the winners.
