  • Bike Ride With the Rector 13.0: Participants Share Their Impressions

    This Wednesday, ITMO students and staff gathered at the Krestovsky Ostrov metro station for a traditional bike ride with ITMO’s Rector Vladimir Vasilyev. The relentless downpour and strong wind, which had been spoiling the mood of the city’s residents all day, did not scare the cyclists away. Among those who were not intimidated by the bad weather was also an ITMO.NEWS journalist, who joined the cyclists and talked to some of the participants.

    On May 20, ITMO University will host ITMO.Career, an open forum on career prospects that will bring together experts from Unilever, SberBank, JetBrains, T-Systems, Gazprom Neft, and 15 other major Russian companies and prospective employers.

  • ITMO Students Win Moscow Travel Hack for Second Year in Row

    The hackathon aims to promote tourism in Moscow. This year, among its partners were SberBank, Domodedovo Airport, Rosatom, Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, and others. The grand prize was 1.5 million rubles.

    Science Slam is a science popularization project consisting of brief scientific stand-ups. The task of the scientists is to present their research in the most interesting, dynamic, and rousing manner. Winners were chosen by voting among the audience.

    Nikolay Budin became a winner in the Code category. In total, over 20,000 students from different parts of Eurasia competed in six categories. The award ceremony took place at Yota Arena in Moscow.
