This season welcomed over 185,000 students from 89 Russian regions who competed in 71 fields, from aircraft engineering to AI. In every field, students were solving cases informed by the market’s demands, with all tasks co-developed by representatives of leading Russian universities and over 700 industrial partners. 483 ITMO students proceeded to the final round, most notably demonstrating their skills in the following tracks: Artificial Intelligence; Digital Project Management and Innovation Studies; Robotics; Business Informatics; and Metallurgy. In total, ITMO’s medal count included 5 golds, 4 silvers, and 4 bronzes.

Moreover, ITMO continued in its role as organizer of three of the competition’s tracks: Information and Cyber Security; Robotics; and Programming and Information Technologies. The latter was one of the top ten most popular tracks among participants and became the track with the second-highest number of internship offers for winners.

Winners of the competition get the opportunity to complete internships at leading companies in their fields, such as Sberbank, Rosatom, Gazprombank, Yandex, AI Alliance, and others. The best students receive bonuses when applying for the next level of education, while medalists also receive monetary prizes of up to 300,000 rubles.

Sberbank is the general partner of the three ITMO-hosted tracks.
