This year, the forum covers all the buzzwords of the year: machine learning, neural networks, metaverse, and digital control systems in robotics. 120 participating students will get to dive into these topics during lectures by top experts from ITMO and Sberbank:
- A talk about analytics and its applications will be given by Sberbank specialists: Ivan Shirokov and Ekaterina Odaynik, lead engineers at the corporate clients' division; Rafael Dzhabbarov, an analyst specializing in decision support models; and Natalia Leonova, the head of projects on distributed business services.
- Andrey Sebrant, the director for strategic marketing at Yandex, will speak about the combination of generative neural networks and metaverses.
- A discussion about collaborations between IT and natural sciences will be held by the head of ITMO’s ChemBio Cluster Vladimir Vinogradov.
- Anna Kalyuzhnaya, the head of the AI in the Industry Master’s program and a senior researcher at the Research Center “Strong AI in Industry,” will talk about the current and prospective applications of AI.
- All about the business world – that’s what the participants will learn at the talk by Andrey Anfinogenov, the dean of the Faculty of Technological Management and Innovations.
Also in the forum’s program are workshops on competitive programming and coding algorithms for computer vision and controlling drones. What’s more, soft skills also won’t go unnoticed: participants will enjoy workshops on building their professional career, maintaining boundaries, and developing self-awareness.
A spark of inspiration is also promised to any participant looking for one: ITMO students will present their projects and products, while the event’s partner companies Rostelecom-Solar and Geoscan will organize tours of their facilities.
It’s Your Call! is held as part of the student contest I Am a Professional in collaboration with Sberbank. Last year, the forum brought together over a hundred talented students from all over the country.
